Meet The Directors
Dirk is the Executive Director of Flower Associates International. He is one of the leading Chartered Psychologists in the UK, having gained his Masters and Diploma of Educational Psychology in New Zealand.
With nearly thirty years of practical experience in giving therapeutic and psychological support to children and adults, Dirk established the practice in London in 1982 to provide psychological and behavioural therapy to help people make positive changes in their lives.
Stefania, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, specializes in stress management, cognitive coaching, leadership training, performance coaching, post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as carrying out psychological assessments with both adults and children.
Her preferred therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC) and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). Stefania also practises EMDR.
Susan, Sohayla, Steven and Kasia
Sue is a Chartered Psychologist and has worked as a Clinical Practitioner with Flower Associates for over ten years.
Sue is currently practicing in the City of London seeing individuals for brief and long-term therapy. She uses a number of research and theoretically based therapeutic approaches in her clinical practice, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Steven uses a range of evidence based approaches, predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is an Honorary Lecturer at King’s College London, where he teaches on CBT and Family Therapy at a Postgraduate level, and he has published a number of journal articles. He also has experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of developmental and behavioural difficulties in children, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Sohayla works with both children and adults presenting with behavioural and developmental delay conditions, as well as other challenges, such as: psychological, learning, and multiple challenges.
Kasia currently works with adults, with a focus on stress, anxiety, panic, phobias, health anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Zoi, Rebecca and Michael
She practices using cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and person-centered therapy.
She is accredited as a CBT psychotherapist with the BABCP and is HPC registered.
She regularly provides individualised assessments for children aged between two and 16 years of age, administering the Wechsler assessments.
His clinical interests include the treatment of Addictions, Psychiatric aspects of physical illness, stress and anxiety, affective disorders and psychosis. He also does medicolegal work in personal injury, family and occupational fields.
Neil and Stephen
He currently works in private practice from a variety of locations in central and north London. He normally works with patients aged 17 and over.
He has 8 years experience in massage, using deep tissue techniques.
He specialises in cranial massage to provide relief from headaches, eye, jaw and face tension.
