Stefania, a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, specializes in stress management, cognitive coaching, leadership training, performance coaching, post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as carrying out psychological assessments with both adults and children.

Her preferred therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC) and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). Stefania also practises EMDR.

Stefania has extensive expertise in delivering psychological assessments (e.g. ability and intellectual, emotional intelligence, workplace 360 assessments, coping and stress assessments, and personality assessments).

She has extensive experience in providing cognitive behavioural therapy to children and adults, stress management, as well as executive, life, and performance coaching. She carries out regular online/Skype assessments and Skype CBT with a number of individuals globally.

Stefania completed her psychology training in London and has also trained with the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, focusing on Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT).

Associations, Presentations, and Research

Stefania has presented at national conferences on the therapeutic approach for PTSD (Traumatic Incident Reduction), and has made media appearances in her role as an anger and stress management specialist. She has provided information for the City AM (on stress management) and The Wall Street Journal Europe (article entitled: “Shrinks in the City”).

She was an invited speaker at the 1st International Coaching Psychology Conference held by the British Psychology Society. Her address covered her recent work on stress management within the workplace using a specific coaching programme that she has developed.

Stefania completed research, at doctoral level at the University of Essex and the Tavistock Clinic of London, in the field of workplace stress and has developed a stress self-help coaching manual for the middle management within blue chip organisations.

She is a member of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Counselling Psychology; the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies; an affiliate founding member of the Association for Coaching, UK; member of the Croatian Psychological Society; an affiliate member of the Royal Society of Medicine. She is also a registered practitioner with the HPC.

Current Work

Stefania provides one-to-one CBT and CBC in the City of London and at various other locations in and around London as well as internationally. She provides online CBT and CBC sessions, including online psychological assessments, which has proved successful with an international blue chip company in the Far East.

She works with a number of blue chip organisations in the areas of banking, insurance, and law, with a specialisation in stress management, development of behavioural performance skills, and leadership skills. Stefania also works in London with a number of private schools, providing assessments and CBT to primary and secondary children.
